Don’t ask me what I’m doing…
Well, for one thing, I am attempting to start and maintain a blog. In the past, I attempted to start and maintain a YouTube channel and podcast, which I may still try to continue, but we shall see… As kids, we think about what we’re going to be as adults or where we’re going to be in life. Sometimes, we can’t even fathom the possibilities of who or where we will be.
As an adult now, I still have no idea who I want to be or where I am going. But, so far, I’m someone who’s finished high school, graduated college, and now works a M-F 9-6 job. Pretty typical I would say. But that’s just a little overview of what I’ve been doing in my life. Some may say the same, but others could have a completely different life. Some may say it’s boring (which sometimes it is), and others might say they enjoy the simplicity. Well… I say do it, don’t it… noodles, don’t noodles. Honestly, though, choose what works for you.
There is no right or wrong answer to what you choose to do in life. You just have to choose something. And just to backtrack a little, my little life is pretty fun. I’m in an amazing relationship, working in the most fun career field, I’m a proud dog mama to a beautiful retriever, and love that every day in my life has something different for me. I like both routines and spontaneous plans. So I would say that every day in my life varies, even though I said that my life was “pretty typical.” But I like it.
If you ask me “What am I doing?” I can give you the whole rundown and details of what I do, who I’m with, or where I’m going. Or I can simply tell you that I’m just living my life and I’m just enjoying the experiences, opportunities, and people that come into my life.
There are millions of other 20-something year-olds that are living their lives a million different ways. Choose a life that works for you, choose the job that you love, choose the people that you love and who love you, choose how you want to live your life, choose your path. I’m choosing my path, that’s what I’m doing.
