How to choose my path?
There are times when you feel stuck in life. Or maybe you ask yourself, “What am I doing here?” Often, we find ourselves stuck making choices and thinking about all the possibilities and outcomes.
“What school should I go to?”
“Where should I move to?”
“Which job should I apply for?”
“Do I go on another date with this person???”
“Should start a blog or business?”
Again, sooo many questions, sooo many choices, so many different possibilities. Truth be told, answering the life-changing questions with, honestly, any answer or decision you make is you creating your path. To answer the “how?” is essentially to just go for it. If you make a plan and follow it, then there’s your path. On the other hand, if you make a plan and don’t go for it or don’t make a plan at all, that is also a path that you choose to take. Regardless of what you “choose” to do, any path is a path that you will basically be on.
It really comes down to making a decision that you want and being able to accept where it takes you. If you don’t like it find another decision to make and make another path to take. That’s what I’ve been realizing as I have been making big life decisions myself. If you’re here and you made it this far, well, life is life-ing. Life’s not stopping until it does. You’re not stopping until you do. That was kind of dark, but it’s the hard truth. You’re going to just be doing something, whether it’s choosing to do something or nothing at all; it’s always something.
Now, in terms of “right” or “wrong,” it’s all part of the experience. Choose “right,” life is going to happen. Choose “wrong,” life is still going to happen. How you respond is your path; your “path” is you choose whatever the hell it is you want in life. Honestly, just choose or life will choose for you. Being active and proactive in what you choose in life can create the path that you love or at least learn to love. I’m not saying there won’t be a struggle in choosing and making decisions in life because it is going to be hard sometimes… maybe a lot of the times. Doing life is hard period. So choose, don’t choose… noodles, don’t noodles…
